To know about globalization and its effefts.
MNC companies and its role in Indian economy.

 39 Students of class X are divided into groups of 8 each.
The subject covers a part of their curriculum of Economics.

2.1 Essential Question:
Put in writing the question that will engage the students 


1. What do you mean by globalization?
2. How globalization was practiced during colonial period, Early ages medieval period and modern period?
3. After independence what are the changes came in Indian economy?
4. How globalization affecting Indian economy?
5. Is globalization good for developing your country?
6. How globalization was practiced immediately after independence?
7. What are MNC’s?
8. What are the various ways in which MNC’s set up or control production in other countries?
9. What are the factors that enabled Globalization?
10. What do you mean by interlinking production across the countries?






2.2 Grouping Strategy:
Describe the criteria that will be used to form students’ team and how this maps to the goals of the project.

The students are divided into five groups.Each group consists of high achievers, late bloomers, boys and girls. The project intends to promote team work and cooperation among students. Each child gets a chance to participate in the activities.

2.3 Learning Environment:
Describe the learning environment for the project including any classroom adaptation that will be required.


The teacher gives the general instructions in the class.This is followed by group discussion.The group leader presents the ideas of the group in front of the entire class. Computer labs can be used to collect information and leaders were asked to record their work.

Authentic do- able tasks that will be carried out by the team will include-
1 Reading the NCERT textbook.

2. Extra information collected from internet.
3. Group discussions were conducted.

4.Can prepare a project file or power point presentation

 
2.42 Formative Assessment:

Regular feedback  obtained from the students. Group discussion, Involvement of all group members, oral and written questions, content test, evaluation of project file and power point presentation.
 

2.43 Summative Assessment:

Assessment will be conducted based on –
